Terms of Service & Purchase

These terms govern use of the DumpsBook storefront, Practice Exam Engine, encrypted licensed PDF viewer, customer account, product purchases, pre-orders, discounts, and related services.

Published store terms: Legal entity pending Admin publication. Refund requests are reviewed under the policy below unless a specific product/order states otherwise.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, placing an order, activating a product, using Practice Exam Engine, or opening the licensed PDF viewer, you agree to these terms and to the policies referenced by the storefront or checkout. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the service.

2. Customer accounts

You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Accounts and purchased licenses are intended for the purchasing customer unless the product explicitly allows another licensing model.

You must not share credentials in a way that permits unauthorized multi-user access or bypasses product licensing.

3. Product types

Practice Exam Engine

Interactive browser-based practice access to the ExamEngine functions enabled for the purchased product. Features can include timed practice, review, explanations, progress, performance, case-study/testlet content, drag-and-drop, hotspot, or other question formats where available.

PDF Version

The PDF Version is provided through an encrypted, licensed browser viewer for the license period associated with the purchase. Unless the product page expressly states that a downloadable file is included, the PDF Version is not sold as an unrestricted downloadable PDF file.

Combined Package

A package containing both Practice Exam Engine access and the licensed browser PDF viewer for the applicable product and license period.

4. License, permitted use, and restrictions

Purchase grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the purchased product for personal or otherwise expressly authorized study use during the applicable access period. It does not transfer ownership of the software, questions, explanations, PDF content, media, databases, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

You may not, except where applicable law expressly prevents restriction:

  • share, resell, sublicense, publish, mirror, or redistribute licensed content;
  • share an account or license to create unauthorized concurrent access;
  • systematically copy, screenshot, scrape, extract, crawl, record, or reproduce protected content for redistribution;
  • circumvent encryption, access-expiration, license checks, session controls, rate limits, or other technical protections;
  • reverse engineer or interfere with the service, except where law expressly permits;
  • use automated tools to harvest questions, answers, PDFs, customer data, or catalog information beyond ordinary public indexing permitted by the site.

5. Prices, discounts, taxes, and currency

The price, package, currency, discount, access period, and availability shown at checkout control the transaction. Promotional prices can change or expire and generally do not apply retroactively to completed purchases unless the promotion expressly says otherwise.

Taxes, duties, currency-conversion charges, or payment-provider fees may apply depending on location and payment method. Where legally required, applicable tax should be shown or included during checkout.

6. Payments

Orders are subject to payment authorization and fraud/security checks. A product is not considered fully purchased until the transaction is accepted and the order or entitlement is created by the application.

If payment is reversed, cancelled, disputed, charged back, or later determined to be unauthorized, related access may be suspended while the transaction is reviewed.

Do not submit the same payment repeatedly if a payment appears delayed. Check the order/account status or contact support to reduce the risk of duplicate charges.

7. Refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes

These products are digital licensed services. Refund eligibility is determined by applicable law, the checkout/order terms displayed for the purchase, and the circumstances of the request.

Requests that may qualify for review

  • Duplicate charges for the same intended purchase.
  • Payment captured but the purchased entitlement was not delivered and support cannot restore it within a reasonable period.
  • A product materially differs from the product/package represented at the time of purchase.
  • A refund is required by applicable consumer law.

Requests that normally do not create an automatic refund right

  • Change of mind after meaningful digital access has been used.
  • Failure to pass an external certification exam.
  • Failure to read the product description, system requirements, access period, or package details before purchase.
  • A request to download the PDF where the purchased product was clearly presented as licensed browser viewing.
  • Account suspension caused by prohibited sharing, abuse, payment fraud, or attempted circumvention of licensing controls.

Where a refund is approved, it should normally be returned through the original payment method where possible. Processing time after approval depends on the payment provider and financial institution.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support before initiating a chargeback when practical so the order can be investigated. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable rights under applicable law.

8. Pre-orders

Pre-order products are not yet in the same fulfillment state as immediately available products. The product page or checkout should identify the expected availability or the nature of the pre-order. Release dates or content scope may change when an external certification vendor changes exam objectives, availability, or scheduling.

If a pre-order cannot be supplied, the store should provide an appropriate remedy consistent with the order terms and applicable law.

9. Certification and exam-content disclaimer

DumpsBook and ExamEngine provide independent study and practice products. Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, the store is not the official examination authority and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by the certification vendor whose trademarks or exam names identify the subject of study.

Certification vendors may change exam objectives, scoring, question formats, availability, policies, or exam codes without notice to us. Practice content is intended for preparation and does not guarantee that a customer will pass any external examination.

Customers are responsible for checking the official certification provider for current exam policies, registration requirements, identification requirements, scheduling rules, and certification conditions.

10. Availability, maintenance, updates, and access periods

Access is subject to the product's purchased license period and the availability of the service. Maintenance, security work, network outages, payment-provider issues, or force-majeure events can temporarily affect availability.

Products and content may be updated, replaced, corrected, reorganized, or retired as exams change. An update does not necessarily extend the original license period unless the product or order says it does.

11. Intellectual property

The storefront design, ExamEngine software, question-bank presentation, explanations, original content, licensed PDF presentation, graphics, and other service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party certification names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended to protect customers, investigate fraud, respond to a payment reversal, enforce license restrictions, protect the platform, comply with law, or address material violations of these terms. Where appropriate, support may request verification before restoring access.

13. Service disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of exam passage, employment outcome, certification result, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Non-waivable statutory warranties and consumer rights remain unaffected.

Any limitation of liability, exclusion of indirect damages, or monetary cap should be finalized for the live site by the store operator's legal counsel based on the jurisdictions in which the store operates.

14. Governing terms and changes

These terms may be updated when products, payment methods, licenses, legal requirements, or business operations change. The live version should state the governing law, legal entity, notice address, and dispute venue appropriate to the store operator.

Continued use after an effective update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes should be communicated as required by applicable law.
